12/26/09, Neusdat am der Wienstraβe, Muβbach.
I decided to start this travel diary in order to keep track of and record my many travels.
I have started this travel diary later in my trip than I would have wanted, so I’ll fill in what has happened so far.
12/22/09 München.
We arrive in Germany at 6:30ish, then we go to a Christmas market, which is closed! We go to a Barvarian café and I try a sip of beer, well then after that my face brakes out into hives and I have an allergic reaction to the alcohol. Ohh, did I mention we got an upgrade to business class that was sooooooo nice. Then at about twelve o’clock at night we go to bed. I wake up every hour on the dot. Finally, at four o’clock I can go to sleep till seven
12/23/09 München.
We go to the Christmas market which is open now and it is the worst Christmas market ever! The best thing about that market was the food. I had the best potato pancakes there, I will never be able to eat another American potato pancake again. Ohh and for you Ami’s who don’t know München and Munich mean the same thing. We went to Dallmayrs coffee shop to get some coffee. Now I know why my mom has that coffee imported, it’s great! We went all of the city looking for a better Christmas market but the other one was closed. Then at 2:30 we boarded our train to take us to my Grandparents house, at Neusdat am der Wienstraβe, Muβbach. I was stuck on that train for 3 hours which may not seem like a long time, but when you’re sitting in the dinning cart ready to hurl from motion sickness 3 hours can turn into a whole day. We arrived and stayed up late with my grandparents.
12/24/09 Neusdat am der Wienstraβe, Muβbach
It’s Christmas Eve. I spent the day drawing comics until my relatives came, then my grandfather played the piano , and we opened presents.
12/25/09 Neusdat am der Wienstraβe, Muβbach.
We went into the Neusdat, for a while. Ohh did I mention that I have a grand total of €167.00 that’s about more money than your average child makes with three years of a 5 dollar allowance.
12/26/09 Neusdat am der Wienstraβe, Muβbach.
Today we went for a lovely hike in the Pfaltz which is the forest that is close to Muβbach. A note for the geography savvy Rhineland –Pfaltz is the province that has Muβbach in it, but if you’re from there you call the province Pfaltz. We hiked a brief 1 km to a mountain side bar. The food was ok.
